Staro Rīga Festival of Lights 15.11 – 18.11
The Staro Rīga festival is an annual tradition, a night-time celebration that fills the city’s historical center with millions of lights.
Starting at 6 in the evening and continuing until 11 p.m., over one hundred objects around the city are bathed in creative lighting and projection solutions – including historical buildings, bridges, fountains, parks, monuments, and a variety of contemporary art installations. The entire city becomes an objet d'art, taking on a more vibrant appearance than usual thanks to the use of contemporary lighting and video projection technologies by talented artists and sound designers. You can share the mystery of light in Riga in mid-November, just ahead of the national Independence Day celebration.
